What is a Jump Starter?
In its simplest form a jump-start is a 12 volt lead acid battery similar to the batteries used in cars. They are generally more compact than car batteries and can weigh between 25-30 pounds. Being both compact and light makes them portable so they are easily maneuvered.

Check the dimensions of the unit to ensure it will easily fit wherever you choose to sit the starter. There are various sizes of portable power, always pick the one that fits your needs and requirements and more importantly fits in your trunk.
